I like “toke.” It sounds exactly like what it is.

I liked the Canadian “hoot,” too, even if there’s no verb form I’m aware of.

I don’t know that one! Like, “here, have a hoot on this?” That sounds like something Vonnegut would write with no record of its ever being written before.
