Honestly, the below cracked me the F up.

From “Walking on Sunshine” page (single, not album):

• In seasons 2-3 (1985-1987) of Kids Incorporated, Gloria/Stacy covered this song.
• In 1993, Clifford, The Great Gonzo, and Rizzo the Rat covered the song for the album Muppet Beach Party.
• In 1994, Macedonian alternative rock band Last Expedition covered it as Dojdi so mene on the album Izgubeni likovi in 1994.
• The same year, Argentine singer-songwriter Diego Torres recorded a version of the song with lyrics in Spanish named Por la vereda del sol for his album Tratar de Estar Mejor (1994)
• The song was covered by Jeffries Fan Club on their debut album Feelin’ Sorry…For All the Hearts We’ve Broken in 1997.
• Christian ska bands Ghoti Hook and The Insyderz recorded covers of “Walking on Sunshine” in 1998 and 2001, respectively.
• In 2003, Nikki Cleary covered the song on her album Nikki Cleary.
• In 2007, pop group Girl Authority covered the song on Road Trip.
• Christian pop group Jump5 recorded a version on their 2003 album Accelerate. This cover was also on the soundtrack to the movie Ella Enchanted.

If you do not, like me, very nearly solely use MS Paint for all your image-editing needs (and know how horrible it is at resizing images), you may not relate to the satisfaction inherent in this maneuver:

Chrome only lets me zoom in or out on images in certain increments, so I’ve long since enjoyed the trick of saving an image in the wrong size (as I find it or from a print screen-ed [PS] cut of the closest-to-right zoom, pasted in Paint) and then maximizing or minimizing the “view image” window as appropriate and then doing a PS paste back into the file after opening it (again) in Paint.

Just now, because Chrome’s smallest version of an image was too big, I PS’d an even bigger Chrome display of it, pasted that in Paint, used Paint’s (default: dramatic) zoom out function, PS’d that, and pasted back in non-zoomed view. And then used that.

Success.

Thank god for perfectly encapsulating memes.

(I used to relate most to Beaker [Muppet] in his moments of flat-out panic, but this feels really right, nowadays]

Seemingly inspired by the hyper-visual (yet banally so) monstrosity that is Windows 8 (yes, hi, hello, laptop: you), ever more programs — including Google Maps & Drive (hi, bots), Chrome’s bookmark management gizmo, Flickr, etc — have taken a swan dive toward looking like a Fisher Price kitchen and being just as useful, in general, as the latter is for frying a f*ing egg.
